THIS IS MINISTRY...

Elekt Poetz are veterans in the local hip hop music scene. Keeping their music “ministry-minded”, their lyrics are subliminal but deep and powerful. They strive to reach the un-churched and “lost” in the streets, prisons and in the clubs.

Ministry is all the “hype” they need to bring the TRUTH with words of wisdom and understanding. “We were sent here to do the Master’s work, and we are very thankful for that”. (Kwon 5966)

Ministry Event/Venue Goals:

God has placed a large passion in all of our hearts to minister in several different locations and types of environments. One of our newest goals right now is to reach the Nevada prisons and detention centers. We have already had one successful show at the Nellis Youth Detention center, and our next stop is in Jean, Nevada; at the men’s prison center – this month. We also want to minister in smaller towns; at local bars, clubs, youth centers, shelters and churches in Nevada, California and Arizona. Lastly, we want to hit the streets of Las Vegas in the areas of poverty and crime.

We don’t expect this ministry to be glamorous or financially prosperous. In fact, we expect many trials and hardships as we go out into the battlefield. But we DO expect to change the hearts of people through Christ using our music and presentation. We realize that just being a “follower” itself can make a difference. So whether we are rapping, singing, talking or even eating … we are a walking testimony of Christ, and we want to reach people for HIM using not only our music, but our presence as well.

Kwon 5966, PenPal, Tha Psalmist2 and Heather Fox have joined forces as the "Elekt Poetz". The much anticipated album is in the works as the Poetz have been posted in the Sword Chamber Studio in Las Vegas, creating some of the "illest" tracks and mind stretching lyrics. These solo artists are sure to change The hip-hop game as they collaborate as a crew and continue on their solo careers together.
